Design and interior
The Han wears BYD's "Dragon Face" style: a long silhouette, neat lighting and the premium proportions of a large sedan. Inside is a spacious cabin with quality materials (leather, soft plastics, metal trim), a large rotating central screen, a digital cluster and ambient lighting. Sound insulation and ride smoothness match the business class — the Han is built to carry both driver and rear passengers in comfort.
Range and charging
The claimed up to 605 km (CLTC) becomes roughly 480–510 km in mixed driving, less on the highway at speed and in winter (see the real-range guide). For Uzbekistan that means confident intercity trips on a single charge. DC fast charging returns most of the range in about half an hour.
Performance and handling
The AWD version, with 0–100 in about 3.9 seconds, plays in the same league as expensive German sports sedans. A low centre of gravity (battery in the floor) gives cornering stability, while the suspension leans toward comfort — this is a premium cruiser, not a stiff sports car.
Comparison with rivals
| Criterion | BYD Han EV | Premium ICE sedan (German) | Tesla-class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | significantly lower | high | high |
| Clearance | 0% duty (electric) | 15–40% duty (petrol) | 0% (electric) |

| Heat tolerance (for UZ) | high (LFP) | — | medium |
Clearance and price in Uzbekistan
As an EV, the Han clears at 0% duty: you pay only 12% VAT (on the customs value) and the recycling fee. That gives it a huge price advantage over petrol premium sedans facing 15–40% duty. The Han DM-i (plug-in hybrid) also gets 0% duty. Calculate the exact figure for your version and FX in the calculator; how the charges work is in the customs guide.
Strengths and things to watch
Pros: premium comfort and space, AWD performance, a safe and heat-tolerant Blade battery (see the battery guide), excellent standard equipment, zero duty, good used-market liquidity (resale value). Watch for: the footprint of a large sedan in a dense city; lower winter highway range; confirm service availability and battery-warranty terms.
Who it's for
The BYD Han EV is for those who want an executive sedan for family and business, value quiet, space and range, and won't overpay for a German badge. It's one of the most rational ways to get a premium sedan in Uzbekistan. Current prices and availability in the catalog.
